This Week.

This was a busy week. Monday brought Academic Bowl - another loss. Tuesday was GHP meetings. Wednesday was the writing test, GHP interviews, Drama, and FLAG practice. Thursday was much slower, and Friday was rocketry. Too much going on in one week. The Ostendo has been going well. Someone named Carla refused to pick up the phone at the place that does the grant applications. We need her to add our school to the list! If she doesn’t pick up, we can’t submit our application. The web site is going well, the design looks good and the text is coming along nicely. Ruby on Rails has reached version 3.0. Very exciting stuff. We are totally using it for our site. We might host heroku (heroku.com), I LOVE them. Hosting starts for free and you can scale it up dynamically. I never finished the ATL Drama web site. But, nobody has noticed, so, I don’t think they care. I have actually played MineCraft all week (upwards of 40 hours). I need to stop. My addiction has gone too far. I went outside Sunday. That was amazing. I forgot the sun existed. But seriously, I don’t really go outside much. I am always hungry though. I also learned this week, that to get to Grand Cascades, you have to take Settles Road instead of Southers. Of course, you can get there down Southers; however, it’s more like a scenic route. SNL was much funnier this week than last week. Some unknown actor was hosting. However, he was much better than Amy Poehler last week. I have to have 8 hours of Spanish this month. Let’s see if I actually get it done. I am really going to quit MineCraft this time. If I don’t everything I am working on will suffer. I’m not going to let that happen.
